For the 29th year, the Aegean Team will be close to the inhabitants of the small and critical islands to offer multi-level services highlighting social solidarity as the factor that improves the living conditions of the inhabitants of our islands,

During the 11 days of Diaplo, the inflatable boats of the Aegean Team - with over 100 volunteers, doctors from 16 different specialties, nurses and specialized paramedical staff - will be the point of reference for the residents.

At the same time, blood tests will be conducted and special clinics will operate. The Breast Clinic and the POST COVID Clinic.

In the medical diagnostic equipment of the Aegean Group, we will once again have with us the unique and state-of-the-art portable chest ultrasound scanner. With the ultrasound we can offer sophisticated lung tests that cover every condition, including COVID-19. In fact, those who have contracted COVID-19 can be assessed for lung damage that may remain after the illness.

In addition to the ultrasound scanner, our equipment includes the portable Ultrasound device for multiple types of examinations, as well as new state-of-the-art dental equipment.

In our Mission, the Hellenic Red Cross (HRC) will be with us - for one more year. The EES nurse trainers will offer experiential training in First Aid to students of all levels as well as to the residents of the islands.

We believe that we enable residents to meet their essential needs in such a sensitive area as health, with the trust and reliability that distinguishes us.

The Aegean Team will donate medical equipment to health structures, equipment to schools along with educational material and will implement, as every year, infrastructure projects, necessary to facilitate living conditions on the islands. Among other things, a very important project is the construction of the 4th free access ramp to the sea for people with mobility difficulties in Anafi.

At the same time, it will organize sports, cultural and informative activities, such as concerts, shadow theater performances, shows with a magician, basketball matches "the soutakia of the Aegean".

Our cooperation with the municipal, health and educational authorities of the islands is always impeccable, the love of the residents is always evident in the warm hospitality they provide us and assures us that we all belong to the Great Family of the Aegean!
