WINTER MISSION OF THE AEGEAN TEAM
Alonnisos 13-15/10/2017
The Aegean Team, continuing its action with the aim of upgrading the quality of life of the inhabitants of the islands of the Archipelago, will carry out another Winter Mission, which will last from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 October, during which, with 70 about volunteers, will visit Alonissos.
The residents of the above island will be given the opportunity to visit 23 qualified doctors, 16 specialties and to carry out, among other things, hematological and biochemical tests in the fully staffed microbiological laboratory of the Group as well as free vaccinations against pneumococcal. Aiming also at the information and prevention of breast cancer, a specialized Breast Clinic will operate, which will include a clinical examination by an oncologist and an ultrasound examination. There will also be a speech and experiential self-examination seminar, with the aim of informing and preventing breast cancer, as well as an informative speech on pneumococcal disease.
In Alonissos, the following specialties will operate in detail:
Vascular Surgery, Radiology, Gynecology-Obstetrics, Gynecological Ultrasound, Dermatology, Breast - Breast Ultrasound, Microbiology, Oncology, Dentistry, Orthopedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Paediatrics, Pulmonology, General Surgery, Psychiatry and ENT.
