Winter Expedition of the Aegean Team to Amorgos

ACCOUNT

 

The winter expedition of the Aegean Team has started, with the help of the company Pfizer Hellas, on Thursday, October 8, 2015 and lasted 4 (four) days, until Sunday, October 11, 2015.

 

➢ The Team

  • with 10 inflatable boats,
  • 78 volunteers, of which
  • 23 doctors (plus specialists), covering
  • 15 medical specialties, conducted
  • more than 250 nautical miles and visited Amorgos
➢ in which they were conducted

 

  • medical,
  • hematological and microbiological tests of residents,
  • vaccinations of residents to prevent pneumococcal disease with vaccines kindly provided by the company Pfizer Hellas,
  • preventive dental check-ups of residents and fluoridation of children with the contribution of the company's Mobile Preventive Dentistry Unit AIM, as part of the 'Brush Together' action,
  • informative activities and talks on the importance of prevention and vaccination as well as on oral hygiene

➢ were donated

  • electronic equipment in the Gymnasium-Lyceum, his offer Angelikousis Foundation and volunteers of the Aegean Team,
  • multi-machine, medical material and consumables at the Health Center, offered by volunteers of the Aegean Team,
  • consumables at the Arkesini Primary School, offered by volunteers of the Aegean Group,
  • educational and sports material in schools, also an offer by volunteers of the Aegean Team

➢ were offered

  • forms from Dealing with Childhood Trauma and information leaflets and posters, offered by volunteers of the Aegean Team

➢ and were inaugurated in the Country of Amorgos

  • multicourt Basket-Volley, which was formed with its kind sponsorship AIMS,
  • 5×5 pitch, the turf of which is her offering Coca Cola Hellas
