The Aegean Team will be during this year's winter Mission in Kastellorizo, at the easternmost tip of Greece, where the heart of our homeland beats.

The Mission to Kastellorizo ​​is carried out with the assistance and support of the Navy and the Coast Guard.

The Navy and the Coast Guard will provide a warship and a patrol boat, respectively, and together with the inflatable boats of the Aegean Group, the volunteers will be transported from Rhodes to Kastellorizo ​​and their return.

The Navy and the Coast Guard, in addition to guarding the maritime areas of our Country, are at the same time the helpers of these societies, in the matters of their daily life, making them the protagonists of social contribution.

Our joint Mission with the Navy and the Coast Guard, beyond the practical results of the medical examinations and the other actions that will be carried out, will raise awareness among society of the importance of volunteering and the importance of cooperation with the Navy and the Coast Guard Body in the context of practical social contribution.

During these three days, the Aegean Team - with over 100 volunteers - will carry out a number of activities such as:

Medical examinations from 17 different specialties

Microbiological / Biochemical Examinations

Post COVID clinic

First Aid training, by nurses-instructors of the Hellenic Red Cross

Concert: "We sing for Kastellorizo" with Eleonora Zouganelis

Event Basketball with the participation of the international basketball player Yannis Bourousis

Lung examinations, as well as those related to the disease from COVID-19, will be done using the state-of-the-art portable thoracic ultrasound scanner -ECOVIDUS- of the Aegean Group (offer from Unilever / My market).

Putting into practice once again the excellent cooperation of the Aegean Group with the Hellenic Pulmonary Society (H.E.P.E.), the Hellenic Rheumatology Society & Professional Association of Rheumatologists of Greece (H.E.P.E.-H.E.P.E. ), the Hellenic Dermatology Society (EDE) and the Hellenic Red Cross, we enable residents to meet their needs in matters critical to their health.

The Aegean Team will donate medical equipment to the island's health structure, equipment to schools along with educational materials.

Our goal in the Aegean Group is to demonstrate that these holy places, our islands, should be alive with life, the residents should have the required support, equal opportunities, recognizing that their living in them is of utmost importance.

In this context, we want to support the State's efforts to support our islands, showing that volunteering is a deep understanding of the position of fellow human beings and their needs, with the implementation of projects and actions for the overall benefit of society.
